Providing bonding between Concrete and Plaster

Specification:

Bonding Agent for Concrete and plaster is Apcobuild Anti-Hack, of apcotex industries ltd. Is specially formulated and designed to avoid the need for hacking, before taking up mortar plaster and Gypsum plaster over new or old concrete.

Concrete surface for treatment must be thoroughly cleaned of all laitance, loose materials, oils, grease etc.

Application of Mortar Plaster

Moisten the surface with clean water and allow excess surface water to evaporate.
Apply single coat of Apcobuild Anti Hack by brush / roller or spray on pretreated surface.
When the bond coat becomes tacky, apply the chat coat (dash coat) of plaster.
Allow the chat coat dash coat dry for 24 hours and then apply the plaster to finish work.

Application of Gypsum Plaster

Moisten the surface with clean water and allow excess surface water to evaporate.
Apply single coat of Apcobuild Anti Hack by brush / roller or spray on pretreated surface.
When the bond coat becomes tacky, apply the Gypsum plaster with trowel to desire thickness (dash coat) of plaster.
